Website:

• Location data (optional): When you use the departure calculator, you may share your location or enter an address. This is used solely to calculate driving time to the airport via Google Maps. We do not store your location.
• Flight search data: Flight numbers and routes you search for are sent to our server to look up flight information. We do not associate searches with your identity.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on page, device type). This data is anonymous and aggregated.
• Advertising cookies: If you see ads on our site, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads. See the Advertising section below for details and opt-out options.

iOS App:

• Trip data: Flight details, departure times, and countdown information are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device.
• Notifications: If you grant permission, we send local push notifications to remind you when to leave for your flight. These are generated on-device, not from a server.
• No account required: The app does not require you to create an account or sign in.
• No server communication: The iOS app does not send any data to our servers. All data stays on your device.

How We Use Information

• To send on-device notification reminders (iOS app)

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only external services we use are:

Data Storage and Security

Website searches are processed in real-time and not stored. iOS app data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced through your iCloud account (if you have iCloud enabled for the app). We do not have access to your on-device data.

Subscriptions (iOS App)

TakeoffTimer offers an optional yearly subscription for unlimited trip tracking. Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store payment information. Children's Privacy

TakeoffTimer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
